Everything is meaningless, though it may shine,
But, indeed things do have a purpose
Certainly, life does, which I've just sought upon the surface
Life's surface is commonly not so smooth
We take rest upon the Father to soothe
But truly we are here to be content through it all
To realize we have been supplied to never fall
We are to sum up to the conclusion
The conclusion that God will and has always been the solution
To adapt and exercise our faith
Through the bondage and the release
Regardless, we have been prescribed his peace
Within them all we must have thanks
Despite the struggle someone else's is always worse
So take joy in the good and within it immerse
Don't let the strength of the pain overcome,
But rely on the Son and you will make it through
