In spirit of the summer season, we are going to take a look at some of the hottest teams in sports right now 

NBA
With us well into the NBA Playoffs, there are some clear juggernauts in the game right now. These are the strongest looking teams we’ve got currently in my humble opinion. 

Phoenix Suns

We knew that all this team needed was a leader to handle the ball well. Chris Paul seems to be the perfect fit. The Suns have been rolling some really heavy-hitting teams in the Nuggets and the Lakers. Although the Lakers were missing Lebron James for a little time, the Lakers are still a hard team to beat, and in the first round nonetheless.

Brooklyn Nets

The Nets’ defense was constantly questioned going into the playoffs. We knew that the team of three future hall-of-famers in Durant, Harden, and Irving was going to get the job done offensively. However, many people were unsure where the defense would come in to make this a truly solid team. The Nets seem to be doing fine on both sides of the ball, as they are cleaning up against teams like the Celtics and the Bucks.

Philadelphia 76ers

The 76ers are interesting. They haven’t changed too much over the years. However, all of the sudden, Joel Embiid is coming into his own as a player. He’s quite frankly the reason they make this list. Without his effort on both sides of the ball, the 76ers wouldn’t have a chance.

MLB

Chicago Cubs

This wouldn’t be an Andre Sutton article without the Cubs. Although I am a little biased, the Cubs have been great recently. They’ve bounced back from a historically terrible start, and now they are number 1 in the NL Central Division.

San Francisco Giants

This team is just amazing. They’ve put a very impressive string of wins together as of late, winning series against some of the biggest teams in the league like the Dodgers and Reds.

Oakland Athletics

Oakland also had a bit of a struggle to start the season. However, they’ve dusted themselves off and risen to the top of the American League.
