Why are beyoncè Tickets
so Expensive?

Akira mead , February 2023

If you know me, you know I’m obsessed with her. This would have been my first time going to a concert for the Renaissance tour. Confidence, joy, and emancipation are a few sources of inspiration for the album. The songs "Cuff It," "Virgo's Groove," "Break My Soul," and "Summer Renaissance," which finishes the album with a magnificent Donna Summer sample, are all euphoric and liberating.

A reason why these tickets are expensive is because venues are coping with rising operating expenses. Inflation has hit us like a bus, which means all prices have gone up. Yeah, yeah, Beyoncé just made 24 million within 2 hours. But we can’t go into her pocket; she is doing this for our entertainment.

The only way to get reasonable tickets was through Beyhive verified fans, which is a lottery mechanism system. You have to register for the tickets, then the system randomly picks an account. This was just based on luck. I was one of those lucky people, but sadly didn’t get tickets in time. (The story is too sad to talk about.) There were two other ways to get tickets: one was through a bank, and the other through on-sale verified fans.

There are some reasonable prices on Seatgeek, but I know some people don’t trust other sites besidesTicketmaster. I hope the prices go down by the time the concert comes.

In conclusion, just look at price drops. I feel like this might be her best Chicagoland concert yet. And please don’t go to the point that you’re making a GoFundMe for the tickets. If you just let everything take its course, everything will work out.

(P.S. Two days after writing this article, I got two tickets. I’m too excited!
