People are heartless, people are cruel. People make fun of people for being themselves, but in reality, the bully is the one who’s the odd one out. Judging someone else for the way that they are just shows how bright they burn and how far away they are. Every step, every turn, the image in your mind is forever burned. You pick at someone’s thoughts and actions that they do, and they’re all the same ones made by you. You judge someone and then do the same, something that would make someone hated, would give YOU fame. To judge someone for every action they take, trip them up on the slightest mistake. But in the end, what we make fun of are the monsters we make. |
You may see someone going out of their mind, but when they called for help, suddenly, we were blind.
Crying out for help, screaming, or even begging, but no one lent her a hand, not even her so-called friends.
Discerning between truths and lies, now you two won’t even say hello or goodbye.
You’re so quick to judge someone on the actions they take, but never stop and wonder if their previous actions were fake.
You claim to be good, you claim to be right; at the end of the day, it’s not you who has to put up a fight.
It’s those who cower and hide, those who are weak, and surely will die.
Those who have lost the will to continue and try, and those without anyone to rely on.
Because if they asked you for help, you wouldn’t even bat an eye.
They’re the strong ones for pushing on, the ones who can tell right from wrong.
But you spend each day judging them for every single step that they take, every single slight mistake, and when they lash out, or even break.
We are not the ones to judge, because at the end of the day, those are the monsters we make.
Crying out for help, screaming, or even begging, but no one lent her a hand, not even her so-called friends.

I’ve seen it happen day and night, people all around me getting torn apart, just by someone looking at them. People are in fear of other people just thinking about them, all because people are cruel. When someone lashes out at their offender, or even at their so-called friends, they’re the person in the wrong for being violent. Yet no one asks why they did what they did; it’s just how they could do that, why did I even believe in them? Things like this are what make the world crash and burn, and it’s been so normalized that I doubt as a society we’ll ever learn. Because it’s so much easier to give a cruel person so much hate. We’re so quick to shut someone out, so quick to let someone go. Again and again, all from small mistakes. Again and again, from the way that they look. Again and again, for the way they sound. Again and again, for the way they dress. Again and again, for showing even an ounce of distress. Because again and again, people choose someone easy for them to hate. And again… in the end, these are the monsters that we make. |
