As a Chainsaw Man fan, this may come as a little biased, but oh man, this movie is one of the best movies of 2025. Period. |
Now, let me explain, the reason why I say it’s one of the best films of 2025 is the fact that from the beginning to the end of this film, not a single ounce of effort was taken away. Even if you haven’t watched chainsaw man, you would be able to tell the amount of effort and emotion went into this movie. Even though Chainsaw Man went through an art style change for this movie, it still retained its original feel to it. It truly felt like I was watching the same story progress and grow exponentially. From the intro scene to the final scene, I was truly moved, goosebumps reverberated throughout my entire body. |
Normally, when I go to a movie theater, I half pay attention to the movie and munch on popcorn and sip my soda. But no, for this movie, it captivated me like a butterfly in a spider’s web. Every scene entangled me more and more into the style of the art, every single motion and especially the soundtrack. Fluid motions captivating me and emphasizing the symbolize the very soundtrack presents to the audience. And do not get me started on In The Pool. My God, I have never been more in love with music than in the moment when the climax of the orchestral performance burned into my brain, leaving me stunned and covered in goosebumps. That single climax in that single soundtrack left a chill in my spine colder than dry ice. |
The emotional rollercoaster this movie sent me through needs to be talked about. From the beginning, I was happy and excited, as the movie went on, I felt enticed, excited, stunned and a feeling of tragedy inside me. Even as I left the movie theater after the end credit scene, I still hadn’t processed the masterpiece I had witnessed. |
So when I say that The Chainsaw Man Movie is the best film of 2025, this is what I mean. This movie has left me utterly stunned, more stunned than I know what to do with. It was a powerful yet calming film all at the same time. |
Overall rating: 10/5 stars. |
