This was for a zine called Water The Roots. The theme of the zine is to show resilience and community within the transgender community through nature imagery. My piece is specifically about burnout and healing yourself from past wounds. While it is important to take care of your community, you have to meet your own needs first. Being able to take care of yourself is just as important and powerful as being able to take care of others.

Healing is power.
